A friend of mine adopted a family of 7 kids. And the kids names were Chip, Felicity, Dragon, Oak, Leaf, Felia and Willow. So when my friend adopted the kids he changed their names. Their last name is now Wight.
Chip - Charles Dillon - 9
Felicity - Pamela Nikkol - just turned 9 (this month)
Dragon - Brock Madden - 8
Oak - Parker Angelo - 7
Leaf - Carmen Sophia - 7 (Oak's twin)
Felia - Moriah Leigh - 4
Willow - Georgia Blaise - 3
Which they join my friends daughter, and 2 step sons.
Dawn Michelle - 4
Jacob Martin - 2
Jackson Lee - 18 months |

Wow. Some of those there would be no way to slightly change their birth name and stay reasonably close.
BTW, you have a lot of new kids in your life! wow |

| I agree, some of the kids he kept the same middle name as either the new first name or middle name. But some of those names are just plain out there, Dragon I could see as a nickname for maybe Drake or something like that. but Oak or Leaf no way. |

Those names are pretty out there.
I wonder what it's like to change your name as a kid. Did the older kids get a say in their new names? |

| Woah those are some pretty crazy names. Though I actually sort of like Felicity, Oak, Felia (better as Ofelia), and Willow. |

There was a representative to the state legislature back in Delaware with the first name Oakes. I've always kind of liked that. I'd consider Oak. I could even deal with Leaf.
Dragon, on the other hand... Nah. Not so much. _________________ ~*~
